(Phoenix, AZ) -- Home sales were down in the Valley last month, but prices were up. RE/MAX's Greater Phoenix Housing Report shows home sales in Maricopa and Pinal Counties were down more than nine percent from December 2017. But the median sales price of about 262-thousand dollars was up seven percent year over year. There was about a three-month supply of homes for sale in December, on par with a year earlier. A six-month supply is considered a sign of a balanced market.
