Meghan McCain says she has a hard time calling herself a Republican as long as Donald Trump is president. The co-host of The View and daughter of the late Arizona GOP Senator John McCain told CNN's Van Jones she isn't sure where she fits in the current Republican Party.
McCain also said on Saturday's The Van Jones Show she doesn't know if the party she grew up in will even exist by the time Trump leaves the White House.
McCain said the Republican Party seems to have lost its character under Trump. She said lying seems to be OK and that stealing is, as McCain put it, a little nebulous. She said those aren't American characteristics and it scares her "a lot."
