The Arizona Department of Transportation says a crash involving a semi truck has closed a portion of the right lane on I-17 southbound.
ADOT says the truck crashed on southbound I-17 at 7th Avenue and is leaking hot tar on the roadway.
DPS troopers say there will be an extended closure of the right lane, off-ramp, and frontage road on I-17 southbound at 7th Avenue while ADOT crews work to clean up the spill.
