Arizona Public Service and d its parent company Pinnacle West Capital Corporation, have fought subpoenas for years to avoid revealing how much they spent on the 2014 election. Late Friday, APS filed information admitting to spending $10.7 million in the race for two seats on the Arizona Corporation Commission. The election came during a battle over the state's solar net metering rules. Following the 2018 election, a majority of commissioners said they wanted APS to reveal its spending.
