During the Call to the Audience portion of the May 7, Board of Supervisors meeting, Chairman Richard Elias ordered security to remove a grieving grandmother.
What you will see in this video is the petite woman holding an American flag while sitting and listening to Elias friend and progressive activist Betts Putnam Hidalgo. At one point, you can barely hear the grandmother say, “Are you crazy?”
IF you listen carefully.
What you don’t see in this video are the radical activists sitting behind this woman as they signal to Supervisor Elias that the woman must be removed. What you do see is the woman holding up a picture of her grandson and the American flag while saying “An illegal alien killed my grandson,” over and over. Opponents of the Operation Stonegarden grant were allowed to heckle supporters throughout the meeting.
