The media has steadily blamed President Donald Trump for the spread of COVID19 across America. They say he didn't act fast enough to stop the spread of the virus.
On April 28, The USA Today even ran a headline reading, 'Holly Marie Combs blames Trump for grandfather's COVID-19 death: 'He believed every lie.'
Journalists have questioned POTUS' every move.
Even the first move of banning flights to and from China where the outbreak started was criticized.
Here's one example with the headline, 'Health experts warn China travel ban will hinder coronavirus response.' The Boston Globe's editorial board ran this one, 'Trump's Xenophobic Travel Ban Punishes Americans Above All.'
Democrats like Joe Biden piled on too.
Now there's new evidence suggesting perhaps the blame should lie with other politicians for not acting quickly enough to stop the spread of this virus.
New York politicians.
Yes, the left's new hero New York Governor Andrew Cuomo and his less impressive counterpart New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio.

It's also worth pointing out this research is science-based as Biden and others often accuse President Trump of not listening to science. Additionally, President Trump left it up to the states and their governments to individually respond to the coronavirus. Something the Constitution supports in the 10th Amendment.
The findings are drawn from geneticists’ tracking signature mutations of the virus, travel histories of infected people and models of the outbreak by infectious disease experts.
However, the media has already drawn their conclusions. Cuomo is the COVID19 hero and Trump is the failure. This despite this new science based evidence showing Coumo didn't act quickly enough to contain the virus.
So in reality it's the media and the Democrats who do not believe science.
