Arizona Governor Doug Ducey on Monday saying he's signing an executive order pausing the operation of gyms, bars, movie theaters, water parks, and tubing for the next 30 days. The executive order goes into effect June 29 at 8pm and will expire on July 27th.
Additionally, Ducey's new executive order will limit public gatherings to less than 50 people. Counties and cities can approve larger gathers only if there are appropriate social distancing measures in place. That means people must be able to be at least six feet apart.
The executive order will also delay the reopening of school campuses until at least August 17th.
All of this as we head into the 4th of July holiday weekend.
