Arizona Governor Doug Ducey and State Health Director Cara Christ want you to limit your Thanksgiving gathering to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
Christ said, 'with the holidays approaching we ask all Arizona to make plans for Thanksgiving that include moving your celebrations outside, reducing the size of your gathering, wearing a mask if you around people who do not live with you.'
While they didn't specify a guest limit like Oregon's Governor Kate Brown. Dictator Brown sent out warning signals that the police could arrest people in that state if they have more than 6 people inside your own home during the holidays. Thankfully, Ducey and Christ didn't go that far only suggesting fewer numbers, the better.
Their mask suggestion also comes on a day where a Denmark study questions the efficacy of masks. Dr. Christine Lane told The New York Times, masks, "are not the magic bullet. There are people who say, 'I'm fine, I'm wearing a mask.' They need to realize they are not invulnerable to infection."
Seems like the government doesn't know what they are doing when it comes to fighting COVID as there hasn't been any new suggestions since May.
