Governor Gavin Newsom is trying to help himself by helping others. His timing however could not be any more convenient or full of ulterior motives.
He wants to hand out $600 checks to those who are struggling while trying to garner support to not have him thrown out of office.
The motivation for this may seem obvious to some but are clearly slanted towards political aspirations rather than "helping" his constituents. This is yet another carrot the Left tries to perpetuate on their voters to get them to keep feeding into Big Government and reward bad behavior!
Why actually help the people of your state when you can just buy them off and keep power and control?
