Felicity Huffman was spotted wearing prison greens at FCI Dublin in Northern California, where she was visited on Saturday (October 19) by husband William H. Macy and daughter Sophia. As fans know, Huffman, pictured in a two-piece outfit and white cap in photos obtained by TMZ, is currently serving her 14-day sentence for her involvement in what's now considered one of the biggest college admissions bribery scandals ever.
As previously reported, the Desperate Housewives star turned herself in five days ago. What’s more, Huffman’s 14-day sentence will actually be shortened by a single day because, upon her arrest, she was technically in custody for merely a few hours (which counts toward one day of imprisonment). So, according to Federal Bureau of Prisons officials, she’ll be out next Sunday, October 27.
If you've been following the case, Huffman received her sentence back in September after pleading guilty to one charge of conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud. In addition to her sentence, the 56-year-old was ordered to pay a $30,000 fine as punishment for her crime as well as serve 250 hours of community service by working with children one-on-one.
