Andrew Cuomo is a creep.
A second former aide has come forward saying the New York Governor liked to talk to her about her sex life. The aid is 25. Cuomo is 63. Charlotte Bennett says Cuomo asked her if she liked to have sex with older men. Then, Cuomo said he was open to having 'relationships' with women in their 20's telling Bennett he was 'fine with anyone above the age of 22.'
After these accusations surfaced in The New York Times over the weekend, Cuomo at first said, he 'never made advances toward Ms. Bennett, nor did I ever intend to act in any way that was inappropriate,' adding he 'will have no further comment until (a) review has concluded.'
His didn't last long as more and more media outlets started to pick up the harassment stories. As the pressure continued to mount, Cuomo released a statement saying, 'at work sometimes I think I am being playful and make jokes that I think are funny. I do, on occasion, tease people in what I think is a good-natured way.'
Cuomo went even further suggesting he was being a mentor to Bennett. Now, the governor is attempting to spin his constant sexual interrogations as mentorship. That's exactly what a creep would say. A creep who would also say 'eat the whole sausage' to a reporter.
Cuomo should do the right thing and retire from his role as Governor and mentor.
