When Donald Trump was President of the United States Democrats were outraged children were being ripped from the arms of their parents. They were attempting to create a narrative that Trump was a disaster at the US, Mexico border.
Now that Democrats Joe Biden is in charge the tone has changed. Democrats are no longer crying about children being ripped from the arms of their parents.
Which is interesting considering there are now 18,000 minors in federal custody under Biden's watch. At most in the Trump years there were 2,600.
Held in grim steel-and-concrete cells built for adults, these young people are spending an average of 107 hours awaiting transfer to an HHS-run shelter, well over the 72-hour legal limit, the data shows. The largest number of unaccompanied minors held this way during the Trump administration was about 2,600 in June 2019, according to congressional testimony and two former Customs and Border Protection officials who were involved in handling that crisis.
The Democrats are great at feeding the corporate media machine with narratives. Narratives the media buys and repeats. Then when the facts make Democrats look bad the corporate media ignores those stories. It's happening along the US, Mexico border. It's happening with their Big Lie about Georgia's voting laws. It's happening every day from the White House.
