This is a big moment for America. President Biden is going all-in on vaccine mandates. We are entering the era where the government gets to make health care decisions for you.
First, the president is going to require most federal employees to get their COVID shots with the only exemptions being religious and for disabilities. Biden is going to eliminate the weekly testing requirement currently in place for federal employees that serve as an opt-out for unvaccinated workers. In other words, there are no more opt-outs if you want to work for the federal government.
Second, he's going to use emergency powers with OHSA (through the Labor Department) to force all private-sector employees to get vaccinated or submit to weekly testing. Currently, there are 80 million private-sector employees that remain unvaccinated. If businesses with over 100 employees don't comply they will face fines of up to $14,000 per violation.
Biden is suffering from low poll numbers because of the COVID delta surge and his disastrous decision-making in Afghanistan. So, this is his solution. Using all the government power to force vaccination. Biden will burden 80 million Americans and their employers. Which is exactly what he wants. To make life miserable enough for you so you will comply and get your shots.
Additionally, we already know these COVID 'vaccines' show waning efficacy as early as 5 months after the second dose. In Israel, there are far more COVID cases amongst the vaccinated than the unvaccinated. In Britain, as author Alex Berenson points out in his Substack (subscription required):
All-cause-mortality is running at least 10% above normal in England and Scotland, the only places we have decent near-real-time data. This has been a trend for two months now in England, longer in Scotland. Both countries are 80%+ fully vaccinated for adults.
In other words, no one knows if vaccinating everyone in America will actually work to stop the spread in COVID. It hasn't in the highest vaccinated countries in the world.
Biden wasn't lying though when he said he wanted to change America. The long-term impacts of his vaccine mandate will only further erode trust in the federal government. That will be his true legacy, further dividing America as more and more epidemiologists say vaccines can't stop COVID and we need to learn to live with it.
Keep in mind one of the most authoritarian regimes in the world, Russia, is not mandating vaccines.
