Craft Beer Gets Political

A couple of craft brewers wade into the #EpsteinDidntKillHimself waters referring to conspiracy theory that sex offender Jeffrey Epstein didn’t kill himself in a Manhattan jail cell.

Did they go too far? Or is it craft brewers just having a good time?

Also, a Northern Cali brewery took a shot at Pacific Gas & Electric with a beer called F— PG&E. PG&E is an electric company in Cali that has been shutting power off to thousands of homes in order to protect the state from wildfires. Wildfires that could be caused by their old equipment.

Also, on The Brewmance On The Radio, Mike & Rob run through beer pairings for Thanksgiving. We get into Budweiser’s new ‘hydrate between Buds’ campaign. They are running ads to remind us to drink some water between beers. Does this message work?

Mike also thinks the hard seltzers is going to be a fad. His goes back to the 80’s for proof. Remember this?

This week’s Beer Of the Week comes from Grand Canyon Brewing (Flagstaff, AZ). It’s their Pumpkin Springs Porter. It checks in with 5.8% ABV. How does it rate?
